Communications Director

I worked as Communications Director for Wanderer Festival, a multi-day music and arts event on the Sapphire Coast of NSW, in 2022, 2023, and 2025. With strategic support from Destination NSW, we successfully launched a new brand in regional NSW, attracting audiences from across the region and interstate. Our campaign centred on content engagement, strategic publicity, and grassroots marketing to build awareness and drive attendance.

Video Content

Video content was integral to our audience engagement strategy and the primary digital content leading to ticket sale conversions. I produced and edited videos in 2022, 2023 and 2025 and managed the video teams over the festival weekend.

Social Media Campaign

The 2025 campaign was well received by audiences nationwide, showing a clear uplift in both engagement and conversion performance. Click on the images to the left to view some of the most popular social media content in 2025.

We had an extraordinary moment when 12 year old Noah held up a sign at The Living End’s set: “Can I drum with you?” With just 2 songs left, the band called him up on stage. Noah crushed it on drums and the crowd went absolutely wild! Raw, unplanned, pure rock ‘n’ roll magic. We quickly edited a mix of mobile footage together and this moment went viral on socials and in the press.

Collab content on socials was an important part of the campaign in the lead-up to the festival and on festival weekend, helping us to extend our reach and grow our fanbase. Mutually beneficial and well aligned collaborations allowed us to achieve targeted reach with the followers of artists and media at minimal cost.
